AdMob Outperforms iAd and Facebook Audience Network

I wouldn’t have believed this a couple months ago, but AdMob is my top advertising revenue maker. I have it as my first choice in my mediation and since it has a 99% fill rate, my other ad networks are essentially 0.

About a month ago, I updated You Doodle and something happened to iAd. After working with an iAd representative from Apple, they were unable to resolve the problem. My fill rate had plummeted and seemed to be preventing other ad networks from showing up. Thankfully I was able to remove iAd from my mediation order without updating my app again.

Facebook Audience network had been performing very well, with ECPM in the 1 USD range. Sadly, ECPM for Facebook Audience Network is now in the 0.3 – 0.4 USD. AdMob is in the 0.4 – 0.5 USD range these days and hence is my top choice.

There you have it. AdMob is my top choice for ad publishing revenue as of July 15, 2015.
